Investment and Construction Project of Provincial Road DT285B

Bac Ninh is a province located in the Northern Key Economic Region, with several major transportation corridors passing through it, connecting the province with important economic, cultural, and commercial centers in Northern Vietnam such as National Highway 1A, the Hanoi–Bac Giang Expressway (New NH1A), National Highways 18 and 38. Moreover, Bac Ninh is situated very close to Noi Bai International Airport. In addition to its transportation advantages, Bac Ninh is also adjacent to large industrial parks and industrial clusters within the Northern Key Economic Zone.

Enhancing connectivity to create links between local road networks in Bac Ninh Province and the northern national highway system such as National Highway 18, as well as extending connections southward toward National Highway 5, will be an important factor in promoting regional economic development and facilitating trade and transportation between districts within Bac Ninh Province and neighboring provinces, thereby accelerating industrialization and urban development.

The Investment and Construction Project of Provincial Road DT285B, from DT295 to the New National Highway 3, aims to complete the provincial transportation network master plan of Bac Ninh. Upon completion, the project will facilitate more convenient travel for residents from Yen Phong to Thai Nguyen, as well as from Bac Ninh to Thai Nguyen, reduce traffic pressure on National Highway 18, and minimize traffic safety risks caused by large volumes of workers and commuters, especially during peak hours. At the same time, it will contribute to maintaining public security and order in the area, creating a foundation for the overall socio-economic development of Bac Ninh Province in the coming period.

Hanoi Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the contractor responsible for the construction of the overpass across National Highway 3, a key component of this flagship project. With a bridge deck width of 16 meters and a total length of 295 meters, once completed, the NH3 overpass will effectively meet the travel needs of local residents and vehicles, enhance regional connectivity, and improve transportation links between industrial parks in Yen Phong District in particular, and localities within Bac Ninh Province in general, with other provinces nationwide.
